In years past, I have decided against the tradition of making any sort of New Years resolution under the theory that there is no particular reason a resolution made at the start of the calendar year is particularly successful; any endeavor attempted, regardless of the time of year, is dependent only on one's resolve and determination. However, this year, I believe I will take advantage of the metaphorical new beginnings.
In other news, Cosette has begun to decorate the house. While I am not inherently averse to seasonal decorations, I feel that it is perhaps a bit early. In addition, I must, at the least, ask for a reduction in the amount of glitter. I keep finding it on my suits, and that hardly looks professional.
