| history: important events from february 1984 to now Julian Derrick breaks into Nurmengard Prison with the intent to smuggle Gellert Grindelwald out. Together with his wife, Sioned Derrick, they begin to discuss how to overthrow current Minister of Magic Tom Riddle and place Grindelwald in charge. Grindelwald reappears in secret within the walls of Durmstrang attempting to pick up where he left off and spending most of his time hidden in the library. Tom Riddle, outraged at the lack of cooperation within the Pan European Ministry imposes a law attempting to crack down on rebellion. He begins to arrest Death Eaters that have turned against him but the Ministry refuses to send any of the accused to trial. The Death Eaters are released within three days. Losing power quickly, Tom Riddle, retreats to Canon Island with a group of those Death Eaters he believes he can still trust, Rodolphus Lestrange, Lucius Malfoy and Bellatrix Black. Together the three of them begin to work on something to unify the Pan European Ministry while the Derricks and Grindelwald begin to start their attack. After a month of seclusion, Tom Riddle reappears with a plan to restore confidence within his Ministry. He releases the dementors into the streets of London, told to feed on anyone they wish. This brings about public outcry stating that Riddle has to go. The decree placed on May 10th outlaws any travel from England to Russia, thus cutting off the Eastern block of countries from the PEM. The Derricks see this as their chance and begin to install Grindelwald as Minister in Russia. On July 10th, Grindelwald takes control of all of the USSR and most parts of Eastern Europe. His control now stretches into Germany thanks to the Derricks whom were appointed Ambassadors to each of these countries by Tom Riddle. Riddle orders the first attack in Germany, falling in Berlin on July 20th. The clash between Death Eaters and Grindelwald's own personal army made up of alumni of Durmstrang and Death Eaters fed up with the way Voldemort has lost control fought for three days. The end coming when Grindelwald himself showed up on the battlefield and offered spaces on his side to the loyal Death Eaters, many ran from the wizard but there were a good amount that chose to join with Grindelwald. Content with his holdings for now, Grindelwald begins to build up in Germany keeping his forces patrolling the areas. He is praised for keeping order and peace within the countries he holds and soon the idea of impeaching Tom Riddle had started being whispered around the entire PEM. The Order of the Phoenix, worried about what might happen next and disapproving of the very idea of allowing Grindelwald to take control start campaigning to allow Alastor Moody to become the next Minister of Magic. The Wizengamot start building a case against Tom Riddle based on abuse of power while in office. While he is undergoing his trial, Assistant Minister Alfred Moon does what he can to control the beginnings of rebellion. Muggleborn and Half-blood wizards begin a march on the Ministry of Magic fed up with being treated worse than Purebloods. The rally lasts four days ending on September 21st with seemingly no solution from the Ministry of Magic to end the problem. On October 13th, Tom Riddle is convicted of abuse of power and treason against the magical world. He is arrested and taken straight to Azkaban and given a life sentence. Riddle is placed in a new wing within the prison and is given the highest security of any prisoner ever in the walls. Voting for the new Minister of Magic begins just twelve hours later with the names of Alastor Moody and Gellert Grindelwald on the ballot. Grindelwald wins by a landslide causing the Order to demand a recount and claiming that the election was false. The recount never happens. November 9th and 10th begin the reign of Gellert Grindelwald. Ignoring the tactics he used within the USSR, Grindelwald begins his reign with the murder of three hundred muggles between the hours of nine pm and six am. By the time the sun rose on the 10th, Grindelwald had taken control of the entire Pan European Ministry. On November 15th, Grindelwald dissolved the The Wizengamot and placed Assistant Ministers in each country he now controls. Giving the most loyal the best countries. These Assistant Ministers are charged with keeping the peace within their respective countries and given full control of the country as long as they stay within the rules set by Grindelwald. Grindelwald begins to set into place various laws making it illegal to house Muggleborns within the city limits of London, England. Allowing them to visit the city is left in, but the homes of Muggleborns begin to be destroyed. Many hide in the country but some stay behind, hidden in the homes of Half-bloods. Christmas day, Grindelwald announces that no student will be returning to Hogwarts and all Half-bloods and Purebloods are required to take a test to determine their new school. The choice between Durmstrang and Beauxbatons. Most purebloods end up in Durmstrang and it is clear that the school has become his own personal training ground for his army, the Black Caps. This new law also brings with it the elimination of magical teaching to muggleborns. Those left without a place to learn turn to underground teaching provided by the Order. Though, this is highly illegal and punishable by death. On the 20th of January, the largest change was pushed through the Ministry easily. The Decree for the Preservation of Magical Status issued a list of spells allowed to be performed by muggleborn wizards, These spells are highly limited, allowing muggleborns only to cast the most simple of charms. In order to control this, Grindelwald's Black Caps are given permission to seek out and stop muggleborns from illegally using magic. Given power to control this however they wish, the Black Caps soon become the most feared group in all of the Pan European Ministry. The Order of the Phoenix begin to hack into journal broadcasts with the help of Jay Blue, a former member of the Ashwinder Coalition a terrorist organization plaguing London over the last two years. Alastor Moody, along with Regulus Black soon broadcast coded messages through out all of the journals connected allowing for meeting times and rallies to be held in the safe parts of Europe. They begin to smuggle muggleborns out of England and into Finland slowly trying to make sure that they are doing what they can to protect the entire Order. Belgium and Finland also announce that they will not join the Pan European Ministry and build up forces to protect themselves from Grindelwald made up mostly of muggleborn wizards. Tom Riddle begins to send letters to those Death Eaters that are still loyal to him, attempting to see what control he still has while in prison. The loyal Death Eaters meet on Canon Island on the 3rd to discuss where they are going to go next. It is agreed that they must find a way to bring Riddle back into power but the idea will take time. If they are caught, the Death Eaters know they will end up in Azkaban along with their Dark Lord, but many believe it is the best choice as Grindelwald arrests the first of the Death Eaters on charges of treason. Sioned Derrick steps down as Assistant Minister handing over the position to her husband, Julian Derrick, whom then appoints Nathaniel Avery as his assistant. The Ministry of Magic then begins a registration of all citizens providing identification cards to all citizens and identification pins to all muggleborns. ID cards and pins are required to be worn at all times and the Black Caps are given the power to demand identification from anyone at anytime. A curfew of sorts is put into place, letting all citizens know that Black Cap patrols will become more intense after nine pm. Kelton Pinkstone gives an interview with the Times exposing all of the magical world to the muggle community causing quite a bit of backlash by all wizards. Barty Crouch Jr and Bellatrix Black break into the Ministry of Magic, aided by Gemma Yaxley and steal six Time Turners in an attempt to release Voldemort from prison, they escape easily and begin to plot how to best use their new toys. On Saturday, April 19th, a biological warfare attack was let lose in London, spreading a disease to all who happened to be within the city. Three members of the terrorist group were arrested, but no information was obtained from them. Five days later, members of both the muggle community and the wizarding community began to flood hospitals within London reporting various symptoms from the attack. This continues until the beginning of May with both muggles and wizards dying from this unknown disease. Thanks to a joint effort between Julian Derrick and Regulus Black, a cure is finally discovered to allow the wizarding community to recover from the illness. Though the Ministry of Magic refuses to allow the muggles to use the treatment and decides that it is the muggle world that has started this war. Days later, Regulus Black and a group of his friends break into Mungo's and steal the cure spending the night administering it to muggles within London. Soon, all of England recovers from this attack. By the 10th, ten people are sent notices to appear at the Ministry or be issued warrants for their arrests. The group is made up of various members of society that appear to be the typical suspects for terrorist attacks within the PEM. All appear at the Ministry except for James Potter and Regulus Black, whom both go on the run quickly after the deadline. Kelton Pinkstone ends up being arrested for his interview and sentenced to Azkaban while Gemma Yaxley is arrested and sent to Azkaban thanks to suspicious activities occurring within the Department of Mysteries. She is released three days later. Mysterious deaths start occurring within Parliament with the suspects all being wizards. Though the evidence seems to point to muggle causes of death, the Ministry of Magic is sent to investigate each murder. Kelton Pinkstone is released from Azkaban and announces that he still feels what he did was right. The Weird Sisters, Parasiiti and Umlauti announce a world tour starting by the middle of June during the middle of what appears to be a large attack on the muggle community by the wizarding world. Deaths within Parliament are happening weekly with the Auror department having to work overtime simply to keep up. The Ministry starts a hiring program to call back all members of the MLE that were fired over the last year to help handle the deaths. A large party is held within Exeter hosted by an unknown man simply calling himself Gatsby, it goes off without an attack or a single death. After yet another attack in London on wizards, the Ministry of Magic issues a decree calling for an evacuation by halfbloods from London. There is no definite time for return for the wizards forced to leave but the Ministry promises that once this serial killer is caught they will be allowed back in. On July 4th, Minister Grindelwald allows his own army, the Black Caps, to fight against the constant murders against his own people. Over the next week, London exploded into riots and fights resulting in the destruction of nearly half of the city. Fighting eventually died down four days later. During this time the Death Eaters were able to break into the unguarded Ministry of Magic and destroy their own files, in the hopes that they could once again be free. Weeks later, the Ministry of Magic finally releases a statement asking for help in identifying how the riots had begun and claiming that there was no truth behind the rumours that the muggle Ministry was passing a law to remove all magical citizens from England. Also, the Ministry allows for the halfbloods, whom were removed from London during the attacks, to return home. On August 3rd, an arrest warrant for Bellatrix Black went into effect and hours later she was captured by the Ministry of Magic and sent directly to Azkaban. Scotland finally wins out over Argentina in a two day long Quidditch World Cup hosted by Bolivia. The Ministry of Magic takes a week off to handle the annual school inspections by Minister Grindelwald. Muggles begin to wander into the magical world after the International Statute of Secrecy was broken and while both the muggle Ministry and the wizarding Ministry work on creating a better law, wizards are reminded of the basic rules of magic and requested not to help or harm the muggle intruders. Various public service announcements are televised on muggle television with wizards talking about their world, thus making the separation between both worlds even more difficult. Bolivia experiences a freak drought starting the day after the Quidditch World Cup while Tropical Storm Elena starts making its way around the Americas. Meghan McCormack is awarded the Most Valuable Player award for the World Cup while Alasdair Maddock takes home the "Dangerous" Dai Llewellyn Commemorative Medal. Bellatrix Black is released from Azkaban thanks to a lack of evidence and the help of the Derricks. On August 24th, Giselle Avery is poisoned by a jumper left to kill Sioned Derrick within their Russian Manor. This is then responded to by the Ashwinder Coalition stating simply that they have returned. Within a few days Giselle Avery is released from St. Mungos though is carrying the poison still inside thus making her contagious by skin contact to anyone near her. A few days later, Dolores Rosier receives a strange owl containing the same poison. By this time, Inka Astrauckas, Burton Jones, and Thorfinn Rowle have also contracted the same poison. Rupert Croaker, former financial backer of the Ashwinder Coalition publicly states that he had nothing to do with the attacks and is unsure of what is going on. September 2nd, Bellatrix Black also receives a strange owl contracting the same poison into her system. Also hurricane Elena makes landfall on the far South Western coast of Ireland as a Category Four hurricane and makes its way across Wales and into London. Forcing all of London to evacuate to higher ground. The Department of Mysteries releases a statement saying they had no part in the hurricane though they are working on figuring out how it got to the United Kingdom. Elena leaves London in a state of destruction, the muggle population turning against the wizarding community for allowing this to happen. The storm then passes across Eastern Europe before falling apart over the USSR. Giselle Avery, finally able to obtain a pure sample of the poison, is able to discover a cure owling out the antidote to all infected with the poison. The investigation runs into a dead end with no link to any terrorist group known so far. Natia de la Crews-Fontaine and Bellatrix Black team up and break into the secret prison holding Tom Riddle in an attempt to find out what it will take to get him out. Regulus Black, James Potter, Sturgis Podmore and Alastor Moody are arrested on terrorist charges in an attempt to destroy and flush out the rest of the Order. The Ministry also announces that they will be going after Death Eaters as well and start with the arrest of Rabastan Lestrange. Both trials for the Order and the Death Eaters are announced for the beginning of October. On September 29th, Tom Riddle was spotted outside of Bristol accompanied by a group of vampires, when the Auror department arrived they were unable to find any proof of this rumour. Three members of the Order of the Phoenix and two members of the Death Eaters are arrested by Grindelwald's Secret Service, their names are censored out of the Daily Prophet saying it is for the safety of all involved. Leaks from two members of the Ministry of Magic alerted all citizens living in Finland that the Ministry will be making a move to take their country within the next two weeks and warns all citizens to relocate outside of the country. The muggle Parliament passes a decree announcing that all wizards are a threat to their nation and deems them as dangerous. On October 6th, Minister Grindelwald responds to the muggle decree by appointing himself emergency powers to control the government and promises that once this attack on the wizarding community is contained he will lay down his powers and allow the Ministry to continue as normal. Later in the day, riots break out in Broadwater Farm, a part of Tottenham in Northern London. On October 9th, the American Wizarding Judicial System returns a verdict of 'Not Guilty' in the trials of the Death Eaters and Order members and allows the accused to go free. The Ministry of Magic reluctantly agrees to allow this verdict but has suggested that the will retry this case in the future within the boundaries of the PEM. Also, the riots in Tottenham have finally been quieted and the Ministry has stated they will not be a part of the upcoming trials against the arrested rioters. Minister Grindelwald and his team of Black Caps storm Helsinki, Finland after seven pm on October 14th, taking the Ministry quickly and declaring it part of the PEM. Natia de la Fontaine is given control of Finland and she quickly begins to make rulings to place the country in Grindelwald's command. The following Monday, Grindelwald marches on Belgium and after three days of fighting the country falls to the PEM. During the battle, the Ministry of Magic within Belgium is burned to the ground with the employees still inside. The Ministry then goes on to shut down every news organization that is not under it's control, taking out the Nevermore and various other tabloids that have often spoken out against the Ministry. The Daily Prophet, after being shut down for a week after the attack on Finland, returns though is only allowed to report news items that the Ministry deems suitable. It also announces that there will be new changes within the PEM for all citizens and that though a series of laws being currently passed, all citizens will be given the chance for free housing and suitable jobs within the PEM. Starting October 27th, a curfew of midnight has been put in place within all magical cities (meaning more than 45% of the population being wizards). Also, all citizens leaving the borders of the PEM will need to request an exit visa at least twenty four hours before their date of travel. A form was also sent out to all citizens simply requesting their names, addresses and blood line. Many people refused to fill it out. On November 4th, a fire destroyed the Records Department within the Ministry of Magic in London. Also a special election was announced the following day to elect the three heads of the Civilian Defense Council, this is an open election and all citizens are able to nominate whom they wish to run. The election will take place on December 6th. Arrest warrants begin to go out for those citizens that refused to fill out their paperwork and they are given 24 hours to turn themselves in or the MLE will begin to hunt for them. All prisoners are sent to Canon Island off the coast of Ireland to serve their week term. Also, Cash Proudfoot, Burton Jones, Bellatrix Black, Alastor Moody, Stuart Doyle and Donaghan Tremlett are informed they are in the running for the Civil Defense Council election. A woman, later identified as Anastasia Jones, is removed from Canon Island prison after her health deteriorated and she was sent to St. Mungo's to serve out the remainder of her sentence. This sparked a riot within Canon Island prison as none of the prisoners were given any information as to what was occurring within the walls. This riot, started by the Weird Sisters, resulted in over twenty injuries and at least three escaped prisoners. Also on November 13th, all borders into and out of the PEM were closed until such a time that all arrest warrants were fulfilled. The Ministry of Magic, on November 20th released a request for all marriages within the current boundaries of the PEM to reapply for a marriage certificate due to the destruction of the records room. Also in this request was for all copies of birth certificates for children born within the last five years to be sent in as well. Assistant Minister Sioned Derrick steps down and her husband, Julian Derrick replaces her while she returns to her teaching position at Durmstrang. Also, with the large snowfall over London the Department of Mysteries and the Magical Law Enforcement annual snowball fight is scheduled for November 22nd. The Death Eaters solidify their plans to break Tom Riddle out of prison on December 6th, using a coven of female vampires and various members of the Ministry of Magic. Mark Edan takes over for Nathaniel Avery as Julian Derrick's assistant. Cash Proudfoot, Royden Poke, and Basil Faawlty are elected to head the Civil Defense Council. After a sucessful escape, Tom Riddle is taken to Helsinki, Finland under the care of various Death Eaters and a coven of female vampires while the Ministry announces that Riddle was killed in prison. This sparks the Order to question Riddle's death. Regulus Black and Lily Potter create three teams to investigate just where Riddle could be hiding. James Potter and Herman Wintringham are instructed to attempt to track down Rodolphus Lestrange. Regulus Black and Mary Macdonald travel to Italy to seek out the Death Eaters within Italy and discover what they can. While Burton Jones and Delilah Savage head to Finland to see if they can find Tom Riddle. The Ministry of Magic holds its annual Christmas party in a manor outside of Wiltshire. Lily Potter and Bellatrix Lestrange are caught in London and taken to Canon Island to serve out their week sentence for failing to fill out their forms. They are quickly joined by Lorcan d'Eath, Regulus Black, Burton Jones, Midge Jones, and Mundungus Fletcher. These arrests leave the three Order teams scrambling for new members which means Liz Jones, Greta Catchlove and Xavier Jordan are sent to Italy to keep Mary Macdonald out of trouble. The teams are soon discovered by Natia de la Fontaine and Alecto Carrow whom force the Order to rethink their plans. Xavier Jordan, Delilah Savage, James Potter and Herman Wintringham all head to Helsinki while Fry McEntire and a small team of Irish Travelers continue the search in Italy. Cash Proudfoot, after discovering the Muggle Relocation Project, is Oblivated by Johnathan Nott. The Ashwinder Coalition is warned of something on the horizon by a Seer from America now under their protection. Liz Jones is captured along with two Irish Travelers in Florence and questioned by Bellatrix Lestrange as to what they are doing in Italy. Liz doesn't have any answers and so she is released the next day. All those arrested and sent to Canon Island are released before Christmas and return home. The Death Eaters attack England, France and Italy as part of a three pronged attack on Christmas at sunset. Dressed as Father Christmas they rampage through the capitals attacking anything that stands in their path until early the next morning. As a response to the attacks by the Death Eaters on Christmas, the Ministry of Magic announces decree 193.5-b forcing all muggleborn citizens into the city of Bruges within Belgium. They are under a curfew between the hours of 11 pm and 6 am and are expected to remain within the town during those times. The city is also closed to anyone that is not a muggleborn. Also, any citizen with a restriction upon their identification has been moved to the city as well. This includes all registered werewolves, metamorphamgaus and gypsies. Just a day before the full moon, the Ministry of Magic lengthens the curfew to last between the hours of 5:00 pm to 8:00 am. Also it requests the family trees of all halfbloods, with four generations included, to be sent to the Ministry of Magic by 14 January. The Ashwinder Coalition and the Order report that their attempts at breaking the citizens within the city of Bruges seems to be running on time with Mundungus Fletcher using a network of Irish Travelers to get arms within the city walls. Thanks to Aysel Chambers breaking curfew, the Order and the Ashwinders soon discover that the Ministry has leaked a chemical into the water of Bruges developed by Inka Astrauckas-Rowle that causes severe illness to everyone not within the boundaries of Bruges during the curfew. Using this information, Lily Potter sends Cash Proudfoot enough of the chemical to poison the Ministry's water. The next day, the Ministry of Magic is empty because the entire building has become sick. Two days later, Lucius Malfoy returns to the Ministry of Magic and discovers that once inside of the building, he no longer is sick. Also, the Ministry of Magic assigns jobs to those citizens within the city of Bruges, though they are badly picked and spark outrage from the majority of wizards. The Ministry of Magic soon discovers what has made them all ill and kidnaps Inka Astrauckas-Rowle from Bruges and forces her to recreate the cure for the Ministry employees. This cure had already been given to the citizens within Bruges and that night thirty citizens were taken out of Bruges and sent, by jet, to Canada with help from the Ashwinders. Inka, after two days of resisting, gave the cure to the Ministry of Magic and was sent to Azkaban for participating in treason. Due to this attack the Ministry shut down all boarders into and out of the PEM stating that it was because of the missing people from Bruges. The Ministry of Magic then enacted decree 193.5-c which requires all halfblood citizens with a muggle or muggle born parent to be taken to Amsterdam under the same conditions as the camp in Bruges. Also, the Nevermore finally returned after the Ministry had shut down all publications months ago, reporting on various fabricated stories and overall making things seem as if they were almost normal again. The Magical Musical Awards, the MMA's, are scheduled to take place February 21st with Stubby Boardman hosting and the nominations are owled out. Anabel Li, also known as Tiffany McAddery is reported missing from Bruges after escaping the town with her friend Aaron Summerby. Hadrian Savage soon begins to investigate her disappearance much t the annoyance of everyone involved. Inka Astrauckas-Rowle's trial is set to begin on February 2nd, but thanks to a plan created by the Order, she is removed from St. Mungo's hospital after being admitted under strange circumstances and disappears to be replaced in Azkaban by Dorcas Meadows. Dorcas soon becomes reasonably upset and begins to attempt to sue the Ministry of Magic for mistreatment. Inka Astrauckas-Rowle and Thorfinn Rowle disappear from the PEM and enter China during the night while the PEM begins their search for the missing terrorist. The Ministry of Magic begins an investigation against the Aurors on the case of Mrs. Astrauckas-Rowle in an attempt to track down how she was able to escape. They also announce that for the Valentine's Day holiday, the camps will be shut down and all decrees receded for a twenty four hour period. This sparks everyone involved in the camps to begin to plan an attack. Hestia Jones and Liz Jones begin to realize that if they can attack the Ministry in more than one place, they'll have a much better chance. Assistant Minister of Magic Julian Derrick decides to join in the plans and starts pulling together the members of the Ministry he can to rebel on Valentine's Day. The Death Eaters also begin to work out a plan of attack and the Ashwinders set in motion the idea of destroying the Ministry of Magic building. The plan involves an attack from all sides with the vampire Ministry of Magic in Finland taking Grindelwald and destroying him. Lily Potter takes charge of the attack on Bruges, drawing up a time line for each portkey and explains how to get the attack to work perfectly. The group in Amsterdam enlists the use of Mirian Doyle and Cat McCormack to make sure the attack runs smoothly. Decisions are made as to who will be staying behind in each town after the last portkey goes off. Liz Jones, Lily Potter and Burton Jones agree to stay in each town. While Regulus says he'll remain behind in London. On the 14th, Inka Astrauckas-Rowle and Dorcas Meadows begin the attack by setting off a large firework display in front of the Ministry of Magic in London. Soon each town dissolves into a full scale riot and all plans disappear. The Death Eaters destroy St. Mungo's, a public library, various Tube Stations and Embassy buildings within London. As well as Tower Bridge thanks to Alecto Carrow placing explosives around the town. The Ministry of Magic building in Belgium also explodes trapping Aysel Chambers and Sioned Derrick inside after they formally withdrew from the PEM. London declares a state of emergency until such time that someone can take over the Ministry of Magic. Two days later, Rhian Jugson-McEntire Minister of Germany is given the position of Minister of Magic which she gives in turn to Alastor Moody. The state of emergency is withdrawn and the Order begins a clean up in London. The Ministry of Magic announces a new building within Greenwich to be opened on March 11th as well as reopening the positions taken from muggleborns during the Grindelwald Administration. Also a vote will go to the public on March 18th to decide the fate of the PEM. A fund raiser quidditch tournament was also announced to provide money to rebuild London after the attack. Sioned Derrick, former Assistant Minister of Magic, turns herself into Auror Kelton Pinkstone on charges of treason and abuse of power. After a small fight, she is sent immediately to Azkaban. Shortly afterward, Julian Derrick turns himself over to the Auror department and is taken to Azkaban as well. Julian Derrick, in an attempt to have his wife released early makes a bargain to turn over other members of the former Ministry in exchange for Sioned's freedom. This leads to the arrests of Rabastan Lestrange, Zach Smith, Anabel Li, Gemma Yaxley and Barty Crouch jr. Shortly after their arrests, Julian and Sioned Derrick are released from Azkaban prison and placed on house arrest. Anabel Li is released as well but given a large fine to pay after her release leading some people to begin to wonder if this Ministry is any less corrupt than the others. On March 19th, the Ministry of Magic abolished the Pan European Ministry and voted to keep the Ministry of Magic just to the UK. The election for the Minister of Magic is expected to take place on April 6th and all prisoners within Azkaban prison arrested for their connection to the Black Caps or Death Eaters will be released as of midnight March 19th. Also, the first two teams of the Quidditch tournament are announced with the location of the first game in Tutshill, England. The finals of the Quidditch fundraiser are to be held on April 4th with the Quickbeams, the team coached by Tsvetanka Ivanova and the Blanks coached by Catriona McCormack meeting on the pitch in Montrose. Also a debate between Minister Moody and Julian Derrick is set for April 6th in Hammersmith. Alastor Moody wins the election to become Minister of Magic by 8% which prompts Julian Derrick to warn various members of the Order of an impending vampire attack by the combined Death Eaters and Black Caps. Moody sends out copies of Dracula telling his people to read it and return to him an essay detailing how to deal with vampires, he isn't taken too seriously. The Quidditch tournament finally ends with Tsvetanka Ivanova's team winning the final. This results in her beaters being offer professional positions and herself being offered a place on the Harpies. Julian Derrick begins to learn how to create vampires in a lab and starts to create an army to take on the Death Eaters with Natia de la Fontaine. Moody announces the race for members of his cabinet with the idea of putting Regulus Black in charge of creating it. Regulus Black asks for help from the Ashwinders to bring down the Ministries of Finland and Sweden, stating that they are the headquarters for the reformed Death Eaters and sends a team of Order members to figure out how to make sure it works. The cure is passed out among those that were infected and people start to get better quickly. The Death Eaters begin to believe there is a traitor among them but can't pinpoint just who is it and the order to destroy either Derrick is passed down. With no knowledge of where the Derricks disappeared to, Jack Nott trades drugs for information out of Giselle Yaxley who turns Liz Jones's name over to the Death Eaters. The Jones go into hiding and the Death Eaters find it difficult to get their target. After a week of no progress, Jack returns to speak with Giselle whom turns to Julian Derrick instead of sharing information to the Death Eaters. Julian publicly states that Jack is the Death Eater snitch. Jack then Oblivates the memory of passing information from his mind and pushes the blame on his son, Theodore. Minister Moody is reported missing by Regulus Black who assumes running the Order in his place. A week later, Minister Moody resigns from the Ministry of Magic stating that personal reasons have become too difficult to separate from the office. He is replaced by Assistant Minister of Magic Gilbert Radford, who has been running the Ministry of Magic in Moody's absence. After various laws passed in Germany, Spain and Italy, England begins to consider a law to control the vampires brought into London by Grindelwald during the last battle. After issuing identification cards to some of the population, the vampires decided that it was just as bad as the attack on muggleborns by the last administration and held a riot on May 30th. Sioned Derrick begins to have strange dreams caused by the Death Eaters finding a way into her mind but are unable to retrieve any information from these attacks. Finland, Norway and Sweden announce an election for Minister of Magic as the former Ministers of Magic were either killed in the last battle or were vampires. Also Natia de la Fontaine is removed from office in Italy for being a vampire. Another vampire riot is held in Berlin, but is broken up before any lives are lost. Natia de la Fontaine destroys the head of the vampires in North America and takes control of her first coven in an attempt to declare herself their leader. Morrigan Blank is discovered to be controlling Liz Jones, Sioned Derrick and Giselle Yaxley by breaking into their minds at night after an order by the Death Eaters. Barty Crouch Jr and Regulus Black decide to run for Minister of Finland. Gilbert Radford is sworn in as the Minister of Magic and states that he will do what he can to make the country work together to rebuild their future. A vote for restriction of magical creatures in England is set and it appears to be poised to pass easily even though the protests of those included in the restriction. on June 15th, the Ministry will begin to implement the new laws restricting magical creatures within the United Kingdom. Julian Derrick is changed into a vampire by Natia de la Fontaine and in the process Natia sinks her fangs into Julian's Dark Mark thus biting Tom Riddle by default. The Death Eaters rally together and head to Finland but are too late. Tom Riddle dies in two days due to excessive blood loss. The Order begins to plan a party while the Death Eaters are confused on how to move next. Grindelwald, once again, orders the death of the Derricks as retribution for the death of Tom Riddle. The Ministry of Magic warns of the vampire threat to the citizens of the United Kingdom and states that no vampire attack has been proven within the country, though everyone should be aware that there have been rumours circling. Morrigan Blank, an inferi created by Gemma Yaxley, takes over as spokesman for Grindelwald and tells the remaining Death Eaters to make people remember Tom Riddle. So far they have accomplished an earthquake in Northern Scotland. Minister of Magic Radford announces the election of his cabinet to be held during July and asks for the citizens of the United Kingdom to help select those that will advise him during his term. Anyone is eligible as long as they are able to collect three hundred signatures and return it to the Ministry of Magic. Also, Regulus Black announces the formation of another WizAid to be held August 1st through 3rd. All profits will go toward funding various projects to help the wizarding and muggle world rebuild after the latest war. Sioned Derrick, joined with the Minister of Magic for Germany and Switzerland begin to build their own Ministry organization to control the things they believe are wrong in the world. Natia de la Fontaine along with members of her coven and Alecto Carrow begin to break into the homes of muggles across London at night using them as test subjects for Natia's attempted cure for vampirism. This results in simply a mass panic in the muggle community and the deaths of over fifty muggles. Beauxbatons is closed and taken over by the team set up by Sioned Derrick and she begins to build her primary Ministry location. The election of Minister Radford's Cabinet is announced placing Regulus Black in office as Head of Cabinet. The rest of the members include, Alecto Carrow, Julian Derrick, Lucy O'Connell and Mungdungus Fletcher. The Ministry of Magic in Spain and France are attacked by a rogue terrorist organization causing the English Ministry to shut it's doors for 48 hours. On July 31st, WizAid begins. WizAid continues without a hitch, ending in the early morning of the 3rd. The first meeting of Radford's council goes off without a hitch but has so far not pulled together to start creating anything of importance. The Auror department, working on overtime, has been unable to find a way to prevent the terrorist attacks and the gas attacks in London causing the entire department to wonder just who is covering all of this up. Radford's council begins to pass various laws trying to protect and help the creatures of the world at the same time. This is met with various degrees of confusion by everyone involved and largely ignored. The Order of the Phoenix begins to recruit heavily looking toward people that just have a desire for change. Files go missing from the Auror department but that happens often enough that everyone assumes it was the kids from the DOM. Shit happened. Seriously. There might have been a party or two but everyone was busy. Regulus Black opened a new business, his wife hit him. Damocles Belby and Kiri Muldoon begin their counter attack against the Order of the Phoenix spraying graffiti and beginning to worry the Order. This sparks the Lestranges into deciding to want to help and the two brothers begin attacking and killing various people around England using the graffiti as help. These two teams are working without knowing anything of each other but the Lestranges are at least having fun. The Malfoys hold their annual Halloween party and no one died. It was a miracle. More things happened. |
